Terms & Conditions

By making use of this website you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Products are sold on the website from time to time, hence the shopping related terms and conditions.

Jump to:

1. Prices

Errors and omissions excepted. Prices will change from time to time without notice. The price you pay is final, regardless of any subsequent changes.

2. Cancellations, returns and refunds

You may cancel the purchase process at any time before despatch.

If you are not satisfied with tangible goods received you may return them for a full refund. In this instance, you must write by email within 7 days of taking delivery, explaining why you are returning the goods. You must send them immediately. In the case of tangible goods, they should be returned in the condition and preferably packaging in which they arrived, using the cheapest option available by Royal Mail.

In most cases a full, no-quibble refund including any postage costs is offered. However, the right is reserved to retain a small percentage (not exceeding 4%) of the refund to cover charges incurred by us, for example, payment service provider charges and banking charges.

Part of the joy of wildlife gardening is its unpredictability; wild animals are free spirits. Refunds are not offered if products or advice fail to attract wildlife.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

3. Dispatch
Every effort is made to dispatch your order the same day. Occasionally an order of tangible goods is shipped in parts. In the rare case of a delay of over 7 days before despatch, if you would prefer not to wait, you may opt for a full refund for any items not yet dispatched.

With tangible goods, packaging materials are reused where this will not compromise standards. Shredded paper or polystyrene blocks from local businesses are used, for example, as a shock absorbent filler along with sound second hand boxes that would otherwise end up in a landfill. It might not always look pretty but it is practical and the packaging is usually reusable or recyclable by the customer.

4. Product descriptions and prices
Every effort is made to offer accurate and up-to-date descriptions of products and images that represent products realistically. However, there are factors for which responsibility cannot be accepted such as sudden or ad hoc variations in colour, size or design from manufacturers and suppliers. All capacities and dimensions are approximate.

Incorrect prices are normally honoured if customers were charged less than they should have been through an error on the website. However, the right is reserved to ask for the unpaid difference prior to dispatch. You will, of course, be offered the option of a full refund.

5. Privacy Policy
Your personal details will never be sold or distributed to anyone unless it is a requirement of law. Personal details are stored only for the purposes of providing a good level of service, for example, to keep records for guarantees, or to send well-targeted offers.

Market research may be conducted from time to time to improve services such as researching how many purchases people make on average, average spend, or what kind of payment methods are most popular. These are aggregate statistical trends where the focus is on the big picture; personally identifiable information is not included.

You may ask at any time to view your records, have them edited, or be removed from the mailing list in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
